Activities

A1 – concerns the provision of career counseling services for researcher careers to participants, offered within the CNDCSM center, and includes two sub-activities: A.1.1 and A.1.2.

• A.1.1 – counseling services for bachelor’s degree students, aimed at guiding young people and all participants towards a researcher career. Experts involved: Project Manager (PM); CNDCSM Center Director (DIRC); Research Career Counselor (RCC); Implementation and Monitoring Expert (IME); Communication Expert (COMEX); GDPR Expert (EGDPR);
• A.1.2 – involves guiding students at higher levels (master’s/doctoral/postdoctoral) toward a research career, both in fundamental and industrial research. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, IME, COMEX, EGDPR.

A2 – involves the implementation of interventions within the CNDCSM center and consists of 10 sub-activities: A.2.1 – A.2.10.

• A2.1 – involves the selection and maintenance of the target group (TG) — bachelor, master’s, and PhD students — who will benefit from project interventions aimed at guiding and orienting them toward a research career. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, Target Group Selection & Maintenance Expert (EGT), IME, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A2.2 – involves providing high-quality research career counseling and guidance services to all TG members within the newly established CNDCSM center; the aim is to ensure complementarity with Program I8, intended to attract highly specialized human resources from abroad into research, development, and innovation activities. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, EGT, IME, EGDPR;
• A2.3 – involves providing advanced research career orientation services by CNDCSM specialists, including personalized assistance; this activity complements Program I8 and also targets researchers benefiting from that program. Personalized training, mentoring, and coaching sessions are planned for the TG. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, EGT, IME, Technical Director (DIRT), Coaching & Mentoring Expert (ECM), EGDPR;
• A2.4 – continuous professional training for Romanian and foreign researchers temporarily affiliated with RDI institutions in Romania. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, EGT, IME, DIRT, EGDPR;
• A2.5 – conducting studies and surveys on the personalized career-orientation needs of TG members in the South-Muntenia development region. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, Networking Responsible with ERA TALENT Centers (RNETERA), RCC, EGT, IME, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A2.6 – organizing working groups to identify and address research career-orientation needs in the South-Muntenia region through the activities carried out in the CNDCSM center. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, RCC, EGT, IME, COMEX, ECM, EGDPR;
• A2.7 – providing Romanian language courses for foreign researchers who will carry out research activities within the CNDCSM center. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, EGT, IME, EGDPR;
• A2.8 – concerns organizing networking events to integrate foreign researchers into the scientific community of the CNDCSM center. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, RCC, EGT, IME, COMEX, DIRT, EGDPR;
• A2.9 – concerns assistance activities offered to foreign researchers for establishing local tax residence. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, RCC, EGT, IME, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A2.10 – concerns providing specific services for effective management of research careers, including counseling, monitoring career progress, and personalized assistance for beneficiaries of project activities. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RCC, EGT, IME, ECM, EGDPR.

A3 – concerns the promotion of research in the South-Muntenia region and the results of attracting students toward research careers, and includes 10 sub-activities: A.3.1 – A.3.10.

• A3.1 – concerns organizing and carrying out science-promotion activities in mass media and society, aimed at attracting young people to research careers. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.2 – concerns organizing and carrying out science-promotion activities in schools and high schools, aimed at attracting young people to research careers. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.3 – concerns facilitating student internships in RDI organizations to attract students toward research careers. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, IME, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.4 – concerns organizing and carrying out science-promotion events in schools and high schools to attract young people to science and research. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.5 – concerns organizing debates involving local stakeholders from the scientific community to promote science and research. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, RCC, COMEX, ECM, EGDPR;
• A3.6 – interactive "science café" events will be organized with the participation of personalities with notable scientific achievements, who will deliver presentations and answer participants' questions. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.7 – concerns organizing volunteer activities and involving young people in scientific and science-promotion events, aiming to engage and attract them toward research fields within the CNDCSM center. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, EGT, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.8 – itinerant and interactive exhibitions will be organized, focused on scientific evidence and results in cutting-edge fields of science and technology, aimed at promoting science and research careers. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, COMEX, EGDPR;
• A3.9 – science-promotion articles and research result dissemination materials will be produced and published in Romanian mass media (in Romanian) and foreign media (in English). Experts involved: PM, DIRC, COMEX, RNETERA;
• A3.10 – audio-video materials will be produced to promote scientific results and used in public spaces for dissemination. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, DIRT, COMEX.

A4 – concerns networking activities aimed at integrating the CNDCSM center into the national network of regional career-orientation centers of the ERA TALENT PLATFORM and includes 6 sub-activities: A.4.1 – A.4.6.

• A4.1 – concerns organizing and conducting experience-exchange internships at other national regional researcher-career orientation centers; beneficiaries will visit other regional centers in the country, and members of those centers will be hosted at the CNDCSM center. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, IME, DIRT;
• A4.2 – audio-video materials, articles, and interviews will be produced to promote the network of researcher-career orientation centers; these materials will be used for information, dissemination of results (including results of Program I8), and promotion in mass media and online spaces, especially on social media. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, COMEX, DIRT;
• A4.3 – joint events will be organized to promote the activities of the researcher-career orientation center network, involving and representing the CNDCSM center, with an emphasis on project activities. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, EGT, COMEX, DIRT;
• A4.4 – concerns best-practice exchanges within the ERA TALENT PLATFORM network, with the participation of 15 beneficiaries involved in CNDCSM center activities. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, EGT, COMEX, EGDPR, DIRT;
• A4.5 – this sub-activity aims to develop software platform components with its own section for the ERA TALENT PLATFORM and for connecting researchers with employers and the local/regional RDI community. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, EGDPR, DIRT, COMEX;
• A4.6 – concerns coordination meetings and the signing of 7 collaboration protocols for the development of the national network of counseling centers and governance of the ERA TALENT PLATFORM network in Romania. Experts involved: PM, DIRC, RNETERA, EGDPR, DIRT, COMEX.

A5 includes A5.1 – a transversal activity focusing on project management, meaning the coordination of activities, resource management, procurement, and project promotion activities, in compliance with the PNRR Visual Identity Guidelines. Experts involved: PM. Materials: 10 A3 posters, 1 banner, promotional materials for the TG, project consumables.
